(c) Web pages shall be designed so that all information conveyed with color is also available without color, for example from context or markup.

(d) Documents shall be organized so they are readable without requiring an associated style sheet.

• Be consistent in your use of Headers and section breaks

• Use markup language instead of images/color to convey information

• Use of a color monitor is not needed to retrieve information

• Use bulleted lists with clear headingsinstead of contextual links

• All links should have text only options (if you use drop down menus)

Assignment:

Your firm has been hired by the University of Whatchamacallit to develop a web site for their new Ballroom Dancing Program. Because they are a State University, compliance with Section 508 is mandatory. They require:

• An Introductory Page with compelling graphics and a short statement of their program.
• *A page of their class listing and a short description of each
• A contact page where users can fill out a form to receive more information via e-mail
• *A faculty page
• A calendar for upcoming performances
• A contact page
