DRAFTING FINAL

TASK:
Design a video gaming system. This is due Mondat, May 26nd. (May 18 for Seniors)REQUIREMENTS:
- Should include a hand held device and a console
- Drawing files should be neat with well placed dimensions
- Fully filled out title block
- You must give your unit a name
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
- Dimensioned drawing file for each part; use detail views as appropriate. Drawings should be in single document (with multiple sheets)
- 3-D isometric view of game & console together formatted to fit on a 8.5x11 piece of paper (done in MS Word). Including the name of the system as a title on top
- 1 page, DS, 12pt Arial font description of system. 1” margins all around. List all of the features of the system and explain why it is far superior to anything else on the market today, no pictures
- Assembly View of each assembly/sub assembly with Balloons and BOM
- Part and Assembly files
Save all documents into a folder appropriated named and place in my drop box.
Be sure to consider and include in your design:
- How does the unit get power? Batteries? If so be sure to include a chamber for batteries and terminals.
- How does the console and hand held device communicate? Cable? If so be sure to include an industry standard (i.e. USB) connection port. You do not need to CAD out any cables or internal electronics.
- Color, shape, size, position of buttons. Anything that may enhance your design.
- Fasteners, how do the parts hold together?
- Each moving element should be its own part (i.e. buttons)
