Working with Sheet Metal

Using what you have learned in the SolidWorks online sheet metal tutorial:

1. Design a box using the sheet metal tools
2. Create a drawing file that includes the flat pattern
3. Print your design on a 8.5x11 piece of colored card stock
4. Cut out, fold and assemble you box

Requirements

• All linear edges must be completely closes, small gaps at corners are acceptable
• Drawing file must include flat pattern at 1:1, isometric view may be any ratio as long as it is visible
• Box must be fully enclosable (unlike picture above)

Files to turn in

• Part file and drawing file to my drop box
• Completed folded box on my desk
